Eligibility

Scholarship applicants should be non-Chinese citizens in good health. The Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship notice states age requirements for master's and doctoral applicants; bachelor applicants should verify undergraduate eligibility separately. Applicants should not receive other Chinese government scholarships at the same time unless the current rules allow it.

Language

Chinese-taught legal studies normally require HSK proof at the level stated by ECUPL. English-taught or international-law routes may require English proficiency proof. Applicants should confirm whether interviews, writing samples, or legal-background expectations apply.
